When you receive a booking request from a owner you don't know yet, before accepting the booking we encourage you to arrange a free Meet & Greet to ensure that you will get along. Without a Meet & Greet you risk to not be covered by our Pawshake Guarantee.
Having a Meet & Greet is, of course, not necessary for returning clients.
The Meet & Greet with owner and pet went well? This means that the ball is now in the pet parent's court.
The owner needs to finalize the booking by hitting the "book now" button in your conversation thread.
As soon as they have done so, you will receive a notification asking you to confirm or decline the booking request. You have 24 hours to reply. Once you have confirmed the booking, you're all set!
If you shouldn't reply in time, the booking will be automatically declined and the funds will be refunded to the owner. The owner will then need to send a new booking request, if they still would like to book you.
