Although very rare, if you notice any discrepancy between your booking amount and the amount that has been charged, please let us know.
Rest assured that Pawshake isn't charging any booking fees.
The discrepancy of the amounts is likely due to the fact that your bank/credit card company is charging a (hidden) foreign exchange fee.
Although Pawshake is an international company, it collects the funds from the pet owners in their local currency. However, some financial institutions may still decide to charge additional FX fees (up to 3%).
Despite the fact that this policy of some banks is outside of our control, we feel that this is not fair to our community. Therefore, Pawshake is willing to reimburse you for that fee as a goodwill gesture.
In order to be reimbursed, please contact us with a screenshot or scanned copy of the FX charge from your credit card statement.
